OC with multiplier doesnt mean shit, so i have heard. it still give u crappy perfermance. boost up the fsb instead of multiplier. bet u cant reach 6ghz and still stable. LOL but it should run way faster. So correct me if I am wrong.
@shine9001 the problem is not with BD but with superPI
superpi uses the ancient x87 instructions. superPi’s math library was writen 15 years ago. that prehistoric in the computer industry.
NOBODY uses x87 anymore and so AMD only emulates them, with limited performance as a result.
SuperPi should die, the sooner the better. it is a more then useless benchmark. and if Intel or AMD spend even 1 transistors to make superPI run faster, its even a harmfull benchmark.
Instead of doing all this wich is still cool . Can you run some gaming benchmarks and compare 1600 ddr3 vs 1866 vs 2000k >Thanks that will help a lot when I purchase some Ddr3 next week. =)
FX Bulldozer @ 6.5 GHz takes 14.9s on super pi test..Bulldozer really sucks!!
